The University of Nairobi, in collaboration with the Embassy of Russia in Kenya, has launched the Africa Centre for the Study of Russia (ACSR) to foster research and dialogue between Kenya and Russia.

The Centre aims to strengthen Africa's position in global discourse and shape international relations from its own perspective.
Key figures involved include Principal Secretary Dr. Abraham Korir Sing’Oei, Russian Ambassador Vsevolod Tkachenko, and IDIS Director Prof. Patrick Maluki.
The ACSR will be housed within the Institute for Diplomacy and International Studies (IDIS) at the University of Nairobi.
