The ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA) party has secured victory in all three contested seats across the Mt Kenya region during recent by-elections. The polls saw low voter turnout but ultimately favored the UDA.

• UDA candidate Mohamed Tubi won the Isiolo South parliamentary seat with 7,352 votes.
• The UDA also clinched the Evurore ward seat with Duncan Muratia (7,853 votes) and the Muminji ward seat with Peterson Njeru (3,207 votes).
• These wins represent a significant outcome for the Kenya Kwanza government in a region considered crucial for upcoming general elections.
