A TikToker identified as Peter Maingi Kimani, also known as Menelik Kimani, has been arrested by detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) headquarters for allegedly posting a video containing threats directed at President William Ruto.

• The suspect was apprehended in the Gachage area of Kiganjo in Gatundu South Sub-County.
• The alleged threats included remarks challenging President Ruto and his administration, stating, "Ignore me at your own risk."
• The video also questioned democratic leadership, referencing a "battlefield" challenge and a seven-day ultimatum, suggesting confrontation and war.
