The Nairobi County Government is defending its response to ongoing health worker strikes, stating that most grievances are resolved or nearing completion.

• Promotions for common cadres are targeted for completion by June 30, 2026, but across-the-board promotions could increase the Sh8 billion wage bill by up to 150 percent.
