After a 13-year legal battle, the Ethics and Anti-Corruption Commission (EACC) has successfully recovered public land intended for police housing at Karatina Police Station.

• The recovered land is valued at KSh 12 million.
• The EACC was the key organization involved in the recovery effort.
• The land was illegally excised and transferred to private individuals with alleged involvement from government officials, including the Provincial Physical Planner and the Commissioner of Lands.
