• The Mariakani Weighbridge Cluster, managed by Ebenezer Commercial Works Ltd under KeNHA, has achieved an impressive 98.5% axle-load compliance rate.
• Key strategies include continuous transporter education, strict enforcement of fines, and stakeholder engagement, according to Technical Manager Anderson Wafula and Cluster Manager Victor Kithome.
• Additional measures involve the use of high-speed weigh-in-motion systems and mobile patrols, as well as collaboration with the County Government of Mombasa.
