The National Olympic Committee of Kenya (NOCK) hosted Confederation of African Volleyball (CAVB) officials to discuss preparations for the 2026 Women’s African Nations Volleyball Championship, which is also an Olympic qualifier for the LA 2028 Summer Olympics.

The championship will be held from August 23rd to September 5th, 2026.
Key figures included NOCK's 1st Deputy President Barnaba Korir and CAVB Zone V President Nasir Sadik.
Inspection of venues, including the Kasarani indoor gymnasium, was completed.
