Former Presidential aspirant Reuben Kigame narrowly escaped a serious accident on Sunday morning along the Kapsabet-Chavakali road in Vihiga County.

• An Easy Coach bus allegedly swerved into his lane while attempting to overtake at 5:00 am, forcing his driver off the road.
• Reuben Kigame blamed Easy Coach for a "rogue driver" and also cited the poor condition of the road, faulting Vihiga County, the Kenya Highways Authority, and the NTSA.
• Kigame was traveling to speak at the University of Eldoret.
