The Kenya Airports Authority (KAA) has denied reports alleging the involvement of Adani Group in the planned modernisation and expansion of Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA).

• The project will be funded by the Government of Kenya, not Adani Group, following the cancellation of a previous proposal.
• KAA acting CEO Dr. Mohamud Gedi issued a statement clarifying the situation.
• The denial follows reports that efforts were being made to reintroduce the Indian conglomerate despite President William Ruto cancelling previous deals in 2024 due to bribery allegations against Gautam Adani.
