A senior officer with the Directorate of Criminal Investigation (DCI), Daniel Macharia, has surrendered to police in Naivasha following accusations of killing his wife.

• Macharia is accused of stabbing his wife four times at their home on Lumumba Drive in Roysambu, Nairobi.
• The involved individuals are senior police officer Daniel Macharia and his late wife.
• He is currently held at Naivasha cells and is expected to be transferred to Nairobi on Wednesday.
