The final phase of salary increases for officers in the National Police Service, Kenya Prisons Service, and National Youth Service will take effect in July 2026, according to Internal Security Principal Secretary Raymond Omollo.

• Police constables at the highest pay scale will see their earnings increase by 48 per cent to reach up to Sh57,700.
• The pay rises are part of a broader reform program encompassing institutional capacity, operational preparedness, oversight, and human resource management.
• This reform initiative is expected to result in the highest cumulative pay adjustments for these officers since Kenya's independence.
