Athletics Kenya is preparing to announce a team of six athletes for the upcoming 22nd World Athletics Indoor Championships in Poland from March 20 to 22. The selection process is underway with several athletes having met qualification standards across various disciplines.

• Gladys Chepngetich and Rosemary Longisa are frontrunners for the women's 800m, with Chepngetich having recently set a new Kenyan indoor record of 1:58.81.
• Other qualifiers include Mercy Oketch (women's 400m), Dorcus Ewoi and Susan Ejore (women's 1500m), and Doris Lemngole (women's 3000m).
• In the men's category, 2022 World Indoor silver medallist Noah Kibet is expected to compete in the 800m, alongside qualified athletes Festus Lagat (1500m) and Jacob Krop (3000m).
