Emurua Dikirr Member of Parliament Johana Ngeno has been laid to rest in Mogondo following a tragic helicopter crash on February 28.

• The crash also claimed the lives of five other individuals: Wycliffe Rono, Carlos Keter, Nick Kosgey, Amos Kipngetich, and pilot George Were.
• Key figures attending the funeral included the MP's widow, Naiyanoi Ng’eno, and Narok Governor Patrick Ole Ntutu.
• In recognition of his work on the Affordable Housing Programme, President William Ruto directed that Shauri Moyo Housing Estate in Nairobi be renamed Johanna Ng’eno Estate.
