President William Ruto has pledged compensation for 12,000 Mau evictees and announced several land and development projects in Narok County.

• The government will allocate funds in the next financial year to compensate 12,000 Mau Forest evictees.
• President Ruto also announced the government will purchase 5,000 acres for families and 1,500 acres for the controversial Angata Baragoi land.
• During the burial of Emurua Dikirr MP Johanna Ng’eno, the President directed the renaming of Shauri Moyo Estate in his honour and committed to establishing a university college in Emurua Dikirr.
