Kenya is advocating for reforms within the Commonwealth to boost its effectiveness and ability to address global challenges. Speaking at a key meeting in London, Kenya's Foreign Affairs Cabinet Secretary highlighted the need for improved membership processes and stronger engagement.

• The reforms aim to enhance the Commonwealth's response to emerging global issues and strengthen its economic diplomacy by reducing trade barriers and expanding investment.
• Foreign and Affairs Cabinet Secretary Musalia Mudavadi represented Kenya at the 26th Commonwealth Foreign Affairs Ministers’ Meeting.
• Kenya will host the 11th Ocean Conference in June 2026 and invited member states to participate.
