Chief Justice Martha Koome has expanded access to justice by establishing new Court of Appeal stations and increasing the reach of Small Claims Courts across Kenya.

• The Court of Appeal now has new stations at Kakamega Law Courts and Meru (Nkubu Law Courts), bringing the total to eight.
• The Judiciary has also established new Small Claims Courts in 15 locations, totaling 55 nationwide.
• This expansion aims to decentralize appellate and specialized court services, reducing travel time and costs for litigants and improving case backlog management.
