The Technical and Vocational Training Authority (TVETA) has issued a stern warning to the public against enrolling in unaccredited TVET institutions that issue unrecognized certificates.

TVETA has released a list of accredited TVET institutions on its official website, including 34 National Polytechnics, 1,807 Technical and Vocational Colleges, and 1,216 Vocational Training Centres.
The authority emphasized that only institutions recognized by law can award nationally recognized certificates.
This warning follows the opening of applications for TVET courses by the Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) for various KCSE cohorts.
