Veteran Kenyan gospel singer Mary Atieno has received a substantial gift of an 11 million Kenyan Shilling house in Nairobi following a public appeal about her financial struggles.

• A spacious three-bedroom house in Buru Buru Phase 5, valued at approximately KSh 11 million, was gifted to the singer.
• The generous donation was made by author Larry Liza, who was inspired by Atieno's decades of service in gospel music.
• The house is currently unfurnished, and Liza has appealed for donations of furniture and household items to help make it habitable.
