Airtel Kenya has quietly upgraded its Smarta monthly bundles, significantly increasing data allowances for two of its popular price points while maintaining existing voice and SMS benefits.

• The KES 1,000 plan now offers 45GB of data per month (up from 30GB), and the KES 1,500 plan has been boosted to 90GB (up from 60GB).
• The upgrades were implemented by Airtel Kenya, a move that intensifies competition with Safaricom.
