The Kenyan government is being sued following the alleged abduction of businessman Abdi Ali in Eastleigh, Nairobi, on March 7.

• The businessman was reportedly taken by masked men believed to be police officers from the Inspectorate General of Police and the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI).
• Mr. Ali, owner of ATIS Hotel, has not been seen or heard from for over 48 hours and has not been presented to a police station or court.
• Lawyers are seeking urgent court orders to disclose his location and ensure his unconditional release pending any charges.
