The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has reopened the Mai Mahiu-Suswa-Narok (B7) Road after it was closed on March 7, 2026, due to severe flooding and silt deposits near Suswa.

• The road was impassable due to floodwaters and thick silt at Kedong Ranch.
• KeNHA teams have cleared debris, restoring access to the strategic route.
• Motorists are advised to exercise caution, especially between Naivasha ICD (Km 14) and Suswa Ranch (Km 39), as heavy rains are expected to continue.
