The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) has launched 350 Body Worn Cameras (BWCs) across the country's border points to enhance surveillance and transparency in customs operations.

• 350 Body Worn Cameras have been deployed nationwide, making KRA the first tax administration in the region to implement this on such a scale.
• The Commissioner General, Mr Humphrey Wattanga, stated the cameras will improve accountability and public trust by documenting officer-public interactions.
• The BWCs feature GPS and LTE connectivity for real-time monitoring and are supported by a Central Command Centre for oversight and secure storage.
