The eight-day search for Rodgers Kiplimo, a 25-year-old diver who drowned at Cheploch gorge, has concluded with the retrieval of his body.

• The body was found approximately 200 metres from the diving point, trapped by tree branches.
• Kiplimo, an experienced diver and boda boda rider from Emsea village, was swept away by strong currents on Saturday last week.
• Divers from Bomet County, led by Gideon Ngotwa and Gideon Siele, assisted in the recovery, bringing closure to his family.
