The community of Mombasa is in mourning after an 11-year-old girl, Glorious Kaiza, went missing on Saturday and was found murdered the following morning.

The body of Glorious Kaiza was discovered stuffed in a bag in the Mjambere area of Kisauni Sub-County.
Her mother, Ms. Elizabeth Barnabas, was alerted by a boda boda rider after failing to find her daughter playing with friends.
The Kisauni Sub-County Police Commander, Francis Muriithi, confirmed the discovery of the Grade Five pupil from Buriani Primary School, noting the body was blindfolded with hands and legs tied.
