President William Ruto launched the Ksh5.5 billion Nasewa Affordable Housing Project in Busia County as part of a five-day development tour of Western Kenya.

The Nasewa project will deliver 2,000 housing units and complement the Nasewa County Aggregation and Industrial Park.
Accompanied by Cabinet Secretaries and local leaders, the President also inaugurated road projects, modern markets, and an electricity connectivity initiative.
President Ruto urged leaders to focus on development rather than "cheap politics" and challenged critics to present their alternative plans.
