Kenya has launched its first AI-assisted Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) platform within a Digital Hub at the Siaya Community Digital Hub, marking a significant step in leveraging technology for youth empowerment.

• 20 local youth have been trained to operate the AI-supported BPO platform, enhancing customer service capabilities for local and international clients.
• Key partners in this initiative include Huawei and the Konza Technopolis Development Authority, with support from the Kenyan government's Jitume Digital Hubs program.
• The launch, part of the Siaya Digital Summit 2026, aims to create digital employment opportunities and foster skills development, as emphasized by H.E. William Kabogo Gitau, Cabinet Secretary for Information, Communications and the Digital Economy.
