President William Ruto is implementing a strategy to consolidate various Kenya Kwanza affiliated parties under the United Democratic Alliance (UDA) banner to strengthen his political base ahead of the 2027 General Election.

• The strategy involves offering key positions within UDA, state appointments, and election support to party leaders.
• Several parties, including Speaker Kingi’s PAA, have agreed to back UDA in the upcoming election, with some leaders like Musalia Mudavadi (ANC) having already dissolved their parties into UDA.
• President Ruto is also reportedly seeking alliances with the opposition ODM party to bolster UDA's dominance in key regions.
