Detectives in Kisumu County have arrested a suspected serial robber and recovered a G3 rifle believed to have been used in numerous robberies across Kisumu and Kakamega counties.

• A G3 rifle, a getaway motor vehicle (KDH 812L), and stolen items were recovered.
• The operation involved detectives from the Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI), including experts from the Crime Research and Intelligence Bureau (CRIB).
• The suspect is linked to several robberies in March 2026, including incidents in Arena Phase 4 and Duka Moja Shopping Centre, and a prior raid on Nyalenda Police Patrol Base.
