The Sudanese Muslim Brotherhood is alleged to be an integral part of the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF), though the SAF leadership has denied this.
This move follows similar designations of other Muslim Brotherhood branches by the United States in January and comes amid the ongoing conflict in Sudan, where the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) have also been accused of atrocities.
