Kenya's Judiciary has successfully resolved thousands of disputes through mediation and Alternative Justice Systems (AJS), releasing over Sh96 billion back into the economy between 2016 and 2025.

• A total of 35,731 cases were referred to mediation, with Ksh68.9 billion unlocked through the Court-Annexed Mediation Programme.
• The Judiciary, led by figures like High Court Principal Judge Justice Eric Ogola and Deputy Chief Justice Philomena Mwilu, has expanded mediation services across 41 counties.
• Alongside mediation, Alternative Justice Systems (AJS) saw a 85% success rate in resolving 1,073 cases in the 2025/2026 financial year, demonstrating growing public trust in community-based dispute resolution.
