President William Ruto is slated for a 4-day development tour of the Nyanza region starting Friday, March 20, to launch multiple projects.

A key event includes the commissioning of the Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) phase 2B extension with Ugandan President Yoweri Museveni on Saturday.
Other projects include blue economy initiatives, road upgrades, and affordable housing projects across Kisumu, Migori, Homa Bay, and Siaya counties.
The tour aims to boost economic growth by improving infrastructure and connectivity within the region and to Uganda.
