The Kenya Revenue Authority (KRA) and the National Council for Persons with Disabilities (NCPWD) have announced vetting dates for applicants of the Income Tax Exemption (ITE) scheme. The application system on eCitizen closes on March 22, with vetting to take place from March 30 to April 30.

• Applicants must have applied via eCitizen and possess a receipt, presenting original documents and a specialist report for acquired disabilities.
• The vetting exercise is free of charge, with designated centers across various counties including Nairobi, Mombasa, Kisumu, Nakuru, and Eldoret.
• Registered PWDs in Kenya are exempt from income tax on the first Ksh150,000 per month.
