Kenya Meteorological Department (KMD) has issued a warning for heavy rainfall exceeding 20mm across various parts of the country from March 18 to March 24, increasing the risk of floods and landslides.

• Heavy rainfall is expected to peak between March 20 and March 23.
• Affected regions include areas around the Lake Victoria Basin, Rift Valley, Highlands, and Nairobi.
• Residents are advised to be on alert for floods, flash floods, poor visibility, and landslides, especially in high-risk zones like Kiambu and Narok.
