The Kenya Conference of Catholic Bishops (KCCB) has strongly rebuked President William Ruto and opposition leaders for their public outbursts, calling for a restoration of dignity in political discourse.

The KCCB Chairperson Bishop Maurice Muhatia condemned the leaders' "verbal indiscipline" as embarrassing to Kenyans and a poor example for the youth.
Bishop Muhatia reminded leaders that Kenya belongs to over 50 million people and that public insults disrespect citizens.
He urged leaders to either exercise restraint or find private means to settle their disputes, and to focus on nation-building.
