Trans Nzoia Senator Allan Chesang has strongly denied any involvement in a Ksh.60 million fraud case stemming from a fictitious tender at Harambee House.

• Allegations suggested that two of the seven arrested suspects were Senator Chesang's aides in a deal involving fictitious supply of 500 Toyota Hiace ambulances to foreign nationals representing Swedish firm Jokara AB.
• The suspects were posing as senior officials from key government institutions like the Ministry of Interior and the National Treasury.
• The Directorate of Criminal Investigations (DCI) clarified the arrested individuals were external fraudsters who illegally accessed a boardroom at Harambee House.
