The Kenya National Highways Authority (KeNHA) has announced a traffic diversion on the Kaplong–Kisii (B6) Road due to flooding at the Kipsonoi River Bridge in Mugeni. The closure is a repeat of a previous disruption last week.

• The Kipsonoi River Bridge has been rendered unsafe for traffic after rising water levels overtopped the crossing following heavy rainfall.
• KeNHA is managing the diversion and has advised motorists on alternative routes.
• This is the second time in March that this section of the road has been closed due to flooding at the same bridge.
