• K24 journalist George Njoroge was physically attacked by an aide to Senator Allan Chesang, Joram Wataka, during a political forum.
• KEG President Zubeidah Kananu has threatened private prosecution if the police fail to act, emphasizing accountability for those who sanctioned the attack.
• George Njoroge sustained injuries and has reported the incident, registered as OB No. 21/20/03/2026 at Sibanga Police Station.
