Former Cabinet Secretary Raphael Tuju has broken his silence after a 24-hour disappearance, revealing he was forced to flee his vehicle in Karen after suspecting he was being followed.

• Tuju reported being trailed by an unmarked white Toyota Land Cruiser without number plates.
• He sought shelter with a family in Kiambu, citing distrust in the police due to a prior incident.
• The disappearance occurred amidst a legal dispute over Tuju's Dari Business Park property, valued at Sh1.9 billion.
• His driver, Steve Mwanga, remains missing.
