Heavy rains have caused rivers to burst their banks across multiple regions in Kenya, resulting in at least 84 deaths and displacing numerous families.

• The Ministry of Interior has urged communities in flood-prone areas to evacuate immediately.
• Affected areas include Kisumu County, where River Nyando overflowed, displacing residents and cutting off roads, as well as Tana River County and Uasin Gishu County.
