Kenya Airways (KQ) is set to return two of its three grounded Boeing 787 Dreamliners to service by mid-June, as the airline navigates a significant revenue drop.

• Kenya Airways recorded a 14% revenue decline, amounting to Ksh161 billion, in the financial year 2025, contributing to a Ksh5.6 billion loss.
• The airline expects the first two engines for the grounded Dreamliners in April, with the remaining two in May and June, according to Acting CEO George Kamal.
• Despite the challenges, KQ is also expecting two additional aircraft by November, including a B777-300 and a B737 NG.
