A third contingent of 208 Kenyan police officers returned to Kenya on Tuesday evening following their deployment in Haiti as part of the Multinational Security Support Mission (MSS), concluding their year-long mission against Caribbean gangs.

• The officers were tasked with supporting the Haitian National Police (HNP) in combating gang violence and restoring public safety.
• They were received at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA) by National Security Adviser Monica Juma and Inspector General of Police Douglas Kanja.
• The MSS also played a crucial role in securing vital infrastructure and supporting institutional rebuilding efforts in Haiti.
