The High Court has rejected a bid to halt the registration of Central Organisation of Trade Unions (Kenya) (COTU) officials. Petitioners had sought interim orders, arguing the registration was unlawful.

• The court found that proof of registration for the elected officials already existed, making the requested orders unnecessary.
