A court has been shown photographs and videos linking a key suspect to the scene where Rex Masai was fatally shot during protests on June 20, 2024, in Nairobi.

• Investigators presented 36 photographs and two video clips allegedly placing Police Constable Isaiah Murangiri at the scene.
• The evidence, analyzed by an investigator from the Independent Policing Oversight Authority (IPOA), shows a man matching the suspect's description carrying police communication devices and a riot baton.
• Additional CCTV footage from Absa Bank, recorded between 6:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m., is being used to reconstruct the events leading up to the shooting.
