Kenya Wildlife Service (KWS) officers have successfully trapped a crocodile at Kopiata Beach following a series of dangerous attacks.

• The captured reptile is believed to be responsible for the deaths of three people at the beach since 2025.
• Key players include KWS, the Beach Management Unit (BMU), and local administrators.
• This capture occurred just a day after a separate crocodile attack tragically claimed the life of a 35-year-old woman in neighboring Bondo sub-county.
