Nairobi: Two women have been arrested in Kamulu in connection with a suspected drug distribution network. The arrests followed a joint operation by the National Authority for the Campaign Against Alcohol and Drug Abuse (NACADA) and special police units.

• Authorities recovered 82 rolls and 32 sachets of cannabis, along with other drug paraphernalia and Ksh 33,000.
• The operation was a result of actionable intelligence provided by the community, as highlighted by NACADA CEO Dr. Anthony Omerikwa.
• NACADA is urging parents and caregivers to remain vigilant as schools close for the holidays, emphasizing collective responsibility in protecting children from drug abuse.
