• The ODM Special National Delegates Convention saw the ejection of Senator Godfrey Osotsi from the party leadership, signaling a move towards strict discipline.
• Dr. Oburu Odinga, now the party leader, emphasized the importance of capturing power in the 2027 General Election and warned against indiscipline and factionalism.
• The convention also ratified a resolution allowing ODM to pursue coalition-building talks, including with the ruling United Democratic Alliance (UDA).
