China successfully launched a new test satellite, the Shiyan 33, into space on Friday from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Center.

• The satellite was launched aboard a Long March 2C carrier rocket at 12:11 pm (Beijing Time).
• This mission marked the 635th flight for the Long March carrier rocket series.
• The Shiyan 33 satellite successfully reached its preset orbit.
