The Independent Electoral and Boundaries Commission (IEBC) has launched an enhanced continuous voter registration exercise starting Monday, aiming to register 2.5 million new voters ahead of the 2027 General Election.

• Target of registering 2.5 million new voters.
• Initiated by the IEBC, led by Chairperson Erustus Ethekon.
• The registration process has been decentralized to ward and village levels, with centers established in universities and colleges to increase participation, especially among young and first-time voters.
