As Kenyans prepare for the Easter holiday, Kenya Railways Corporation has released updated passenger fares and schedules for the Madaraka Express Standard Gauge Railway (SGR) service.

• Ticket prices for the Nairobi-Mombasa route range from Ksh 1,500 for economy class to Ksh 12,000 for premium class, with special rates for children.
• The SGR offers both express and intertrain services, with departures from Nairobi to Mombasa at 3 PM and 10 PM for express trains, and an 8 AM departure for the intertrain service.
• Travelers are advised to familiarize themselves with the updated schedules to avoid missing their trains.
