Kenya's national women's football team, Harambee Starlets, are leading the nominations for the 2025 Sports Personality of the Year Awards (SOYA). The winners will be celebrated at the SOYA Awards Gala on April 10 at Uhuru Gardens.

• Harambee Starlets secured a spot in the 2026 Women’s Africa Cup of Nations (WAFCON), their first appearance in 10 years.
• Other notable nominees include the Junior Malkia Stars (U20 women's volleyball) and the Kenya Lionesses (women's rugby).
• In the men's category, nominees include Kabrasu Sugar RFC, Nairobi City Thunder, Nairobi United, Junior Wafalme Stars (U20 men's volleyball), and the national football team Harambee Stars.
